AFRICAGUA is an International business forum dealing with water and renewable energy in Africa. The edition of Africagua will be held 13 and 14 November 2019, on the island of Fuerteventura, in the Canary Islands, Spain. AFRICAGUA expects to carry out regional introduction into developing countries based on knowledge, the exchange of practical improvements in material and the transfer of technology. Throughout the event, workshops, round-tables, seminars and exhibits of successful cases will be held with the goal of realising the opportunities that the sector in Africa presents.

The Enterprise Europe Network Canarias Consortium are organising a market place in the context of the AFRICAGUA International Business Meeting under the theme of Water and Renewable Energy. The market place on both days will focus in partnership opportunities, including presentations of the profiles and networking meetings with participants (clusters, research organizations, universities, SMEs and public bodies) from Spain,  and other EEN countries. 

This edition of AFRICAGUA focuses on " Resilience to Climate Change: Renewable Energy, Water Management and Territorial Planning", and the invite country will be Morocco.

AFRICAGUA has established itself as the international model regarding water and renewable energy, attended by international organisations, national authorities, regional and local authorities from diverse countries, specifically in Sub-Saharan Africa. ( Cape Verde, Senegal, Mauritania, Morocco, Gabon  and Equatorial Guinea). Among the international bodies invited: The European Commission, The World Bank, The African Development Bank, The United Nations, as well as other African and international entities.
